Vittoria Yeo as Madame Butterfly, Tokyo

On July 24th 2016 the remarkable young singer, Vitorria Yeo, played the lead role in a magnificent performance of Giacomo Puccini's 'Madame Butterfly' alongside the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall, Tokyo. The conductor was Myung-whun Chung and the role of 'Pinkerton' was performed by the Italian tenor, Vincenzo Costanzo.
Vitorria holds degrees in Opera Singing from the University of Seoul, South Korea and the Arrigo Boito Music Conservatory in Palma, Italy. She also furthered her singing career by participating in Raina Kabaivanska's Master Classes at Academia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy; Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena, Italy and New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria. The young soprano also participated in the Jubilee Gala Concert held in December 2014 in honour of Raina Kabaivanska's 80th anniversary in the First Hall of Sofia's 'National Palace of Culture' (NDK)
