Elisa Cho

soprano ( South Korea)

Elisa Cho starts her studies in Seoul. Since 2010 she refines her vocal skills with Raina Kabaivanska - at Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena, in the international master classes at New Bulgarian University and at Academia Musicale Chigiana in Siena.
Elisa Cho is a laureate of Colzani competition. In 2010 she received the award of the Music Association of Korea for the best achievement of a new young performer. In 2011 E. Cho was selected for a scholarship holder for Beirut Festival, and in summer of 2012 the Academy of Music Art in Frankfurt awarded her the prestigious Transition Classic Prize.
Elisa Cho is a soloist of Staatstheater Wiesbaden. She debuted at the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv and participated in concerts in Italy, Germany and South Korea.
Her repertoire includes: Aida from „Aida“ and Amelia from „Un Ballo in Maschera“ by Verdi, Cio-Cio San from „Madama Butterfly“ by Puccini, Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven etc.
