Sofia Soloviy graduates from the National Musical Academy „M. Lisenko“ in Lvov, Ukraine. In 2000 she moved to Italy where she began her studies with Raina Kabaivanska at the Music Academy in Osimo and Academia Musicale Chigiana in Siena. S. Soloviy was awarded at the following competitions: Corradetti, Ottavio Ziino, Ferruccio Tagliavini and Viotti.
She is a soloist of the National Opera in Lvov, Teatro Real in Madrid, Rome Opera, La Fenice in Venice, Royal Opera de Wallonie, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, opera theatres in Padova, Bergamo, Modena, Reggio Emilia, Osimo, Martina Franca, Klagenfurt etc.
Her repertoire includes: Alcina from „Alcina“ by Handel, Donna Elvira and Donna Anna from „Don Giovanni“, Electra from „Idomeneo“ and Vitellia from “Mercy of Titus” by Mozart, Giovanna Seymour from „Anna Bolena“ by Donizetti, Manon Lescaut from „Manon Lescaut“ by Puccini, Nedda from „Pagliacci“ by Leoncavallo, Lucrezia Contarini from „I due Foscari“, Elena from „La Forza del destino“, Amalia from „Masnadieri“, “Requiem” by Verdi, Alceste from „Alceste“ by Gluck, Salome from „Salome“ by Strauss, Stabat Mater from “Stabat Mater” by Pergolesi.
