Maria Agresta

Maria Agresta graduates from the Conservatorium in Salerno. Since 2009 she refines her vocal skills under the guidance of Raina Kabaivanska at Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute in Modena and in master classes at New Bulgarian University. M. Agresta is a winner of the EC competition for young opera singers in Spoleto. 
Maria Agresta is one of the stars of the world opera stage nowadays. She is contracted by the most prestigious opera theatres - Metropolitan Opera in New York, Milan La Scala, Covent Garden in London, the National Opera in Paris, Rome Opera, Arena di Verona, Teatro Real in Madrid, Bavarian Staatsoper, Vienna State Opera, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Castello dÁrte di Valencia, Staatsoper Berlin, Lyric Opera in Chicago, Teatro San Carlo in Palermo, opera theatres in Monte Carlo, Zurich etc. 
Her repertoire includes: Norm from “Norma” and Elvira from „I Puritani“ by Bellini, Violetta from „La traviata“, Lucrezia Contarini from „I due Foscari“, Leonora from „Il Trovatore“, Desdemona from  „Othello“, Alice Ford from„Falstaff“, Amelia Grimaldi from „Simone Boccanegra“, Leonora from “La Forza del destino”, “Requiem” by Verdi, Mimi from „La Bohème“ and Liu from „Turandot“ by Puccini, Michaela from „Carmen“ by Bizet, Nedda from „Pagliacci“ by Leoncavallo, Margarita from „Faust“ by Ghuno and many others.
