In December (4-10) Raina Kabaivanska will carry out her Master Class in the Academy foryoung singers at Opéra Bastille in Paris.
Raina Kabaivanska conducted her first Master Class in improving vocal skills and actor’s interpretation in 1992 in Turin, Italy. In the following years, along with her active career of an opera actress, she was leading many Master classes in Italy, Spain, France, Sweden, Russia, Germany and Japan. Since 1998 Kabaivanska is the head of the Department of Singing atChigiana Music Academy in Siena, Italy. Her pedagogical activities in Bulgaria started in 2001 with her Master Class at New Bulgarian University. In 2004 Raina Kabaivanska, Luciano Pavarotti and Leone Maggiera founded in Modena, Italy the Music Institute “Vecchi-Tonelli”. This is the way how Raina Kabaivanska succeeded to attract over the years music academies, theaters and universities which support the classical vocal school to join her noble cause – to discover, develop and present young opera singers from all over the world on the international opera stage. That is the reason for musical and academic communities now to speak about the School of Kabaivanska who is training for more than 25 years the younger generation of opera singers and reveals for them the extensive heritage of the classical opera theatre.
